The National Parks Board is seeking a project manager to lead species recovery efforts in Singapore. The role entails coordinating recovery programmes for threatened flora and fauna through applied research and fieldwork, while supporting other biodiversity initiatives. Ideal candidates should be resourceful, detail-oriented, and possess relevant qualifications in ecology or conservation.

What you will be working on:
The successful applicant is required to implement recovery programmes for a variety of fauna species on the programme. Duties include conducting literature reviews, carrying out fieldwork in a variety of habitats during both diurnal and nocturnal hours, as well as data analysis and report writing. Aside from species recovery work, the successful applicant will also be involved in supporting the administration of several other biodiversity-related science and technology initiatives under the National Biodiversity Centre.
What we are looking for:
- A meticulous, resourceful and self-driven team player who is able to multi-task to meet deadlines
- Able to work extensively and independently in the field
- Strong organisation, communications, writing and analytical skills
- Areas of study in Ecology, Conservation Biology, Zoology or related field is preferred
- Prior work or research experience in ecology and conservation
- Experience in animal handling and possession of a Class 3 driving license will be an advantage
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Successful candidate will be offered a 11-month employment contract.
