What the role is:
To initiate and assist in the formation and development of programmes in collaboration with both community and corporate partners along the CDC’s 3 strategic thrusts of:
- Strengthening the social infrastructure,
- Nurturing volunteerism,
- Promoting active citizenry,
to nurture a vibrant and self-reliant community.
What you will be working on:
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Planning, formulating, and growing CDC Committees, including staffing District Councillors to conceptualize, plan, and implement community projects.
- Developing and executing district-level CDC projects and cross-segment programmes among CDC’s community partners such as Grassroots Organisations, Social Service Organisations (SSORGs), schools, government bodies, and non-government organisations.
- Networking, coordinating, and developing joint CDC programmes or partnerships with community and corporate partners, schools, and government agencies to achieve set targets.
- Conducting research, needs assessments, and gathering data to enhance community project effectiveness.
- Strategizing and maintaining sustainable relationships with internal colleagues and external partners through SE CDC community projects.
- Coordinating and submitting progress reports, providing feedback, and facilitating communication between the Council, committees, and management.
- Ensuring work plans and project updates are communicated regularly through meetings.
- Collaborating with the corporate department to ensure projects are promoted via media and publicity channels.
- Providing administrative and logistical support for projects organized by PA Headquarters.
- Accurately recording minutes of meetings and ensuring compliance with governance policies.
