Job description

Temasek Foundation (TF) supports a diverse range of programmes that connects people, uplifts communities, protects our planet and advances capabilities in Singapore, Asia and beyond.

We are committed to prospering every generation. A key part of this mission is to foster health and well-being across the life course — from ensuring every child has a good start in life, to supporting active ageing and mental resilience for all.

Our work spans three key focus areas: maternal and child health, seniors’ health, and mental health. Within these areas, we prioritise:

  • Preventive health to reduce the burden of disease before it starts
  • Innovative solutions that improve access, outcomes, and equity
  • Health system strengthening to ensure long-term impact at scale

  • Identify gaps in the MCH landscape and work with partners such as global organisations (e.g. UNICEF, WHO), governments, health institutions and civil society organisations to co-create solutions.
  • Work with partners to ensure that funded programmes are on track and achieve their intended impact. This may include site visits, providing operational guidance and convening meetings of key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to take advantage of cross-sector grant making opportunities.
  • In addition, the individual maybe required to support projects and/or institutional initiatives, where appropriate

Qualifications

  • At least 3 - 5 years in a health-related field (eg. public or global health, healthcare systems, with domain expertise in at least one of the Foundation’s priority areas (e.g. MCH, ageing, mental health).

  • Proven ability to lead and influence others in a constructive manner and to build and sustain collaborative relationships.
