Nanyang Business School, ASEAN & China Programmes Office is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manager, Programme Administration and Operations to oversee the smooth delivery of our academic programmes. In this dynamic role, you will work closely with the Academic Director and the Senior Assistant Director, Operations on the effective implementation of academic, administrative, and operational processes for the programmes. You will also be key in designing the professional and social events that form an integral part of the programme experience for the participants.
Key Responsibilities:
Programme Operations and Course Management
Work closely with the Academic Director and course instructors on course curriculum design, review and timetabling
Manage course registration, examination and related matters
Provide robust support for course instructors to ensure smooth lesson delivery
Monitor market trends and undertake active collation of statistics and data such as student feedback required for different surveys and reports
Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of student records and databases
Procurement of course materials
Overseas Study Segments
Propose the structure of overseas study segments
Manage the overall logistics and procurement matters of the overseas segments
Student Support and Candidature Management
Plan, organise and oversee the various social and/or professional events organized for students.
Handle student enquiries (e.g. pertaining to leave of absence, withdrawals, deferment or extension of candidature) in a timely and effective manner, in line with university policies and programme standards
Monitor student’s graduating status and schedule-related activities
Requirements
A degree holder, preferably with relevant work experience of 8 years.
Good understanding of Chinese culture and China's business environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Powerpoint and Meticulous with a keen eye for details and a good team player.
Quality and customer-service oriented.
Good interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
Effectively bilingual (reading, writing, and speaking) in English and Chinese to handle communications with the target student group.
