Job description:
Job Responsibilities
- Guide, mentor, coach, and develop team members to improve their competencies and effectiveness in achieving company goals.
- Formulate, execute, and track sourcing strategies for categories such as Facility Mechanical and Electrical systems (HVAC, Electrical switchgears), Utilities (Water, Gas, Electricity), Waste Treatment, and Indirect materials (Chemicals, Gases, Fuel, Lubricants).
- Manage repair & maintenance costs, category spend/contracts (OPEX & CAPEX) to ensure operations are within budget and cost-effective.
- Engage in end-to-end procurement processes including vendor selection, scope definition, RFI, RFT, RFQ, contracting, and post-award management.
- Manage daily procurement operations such as contract renewals, high catalog usage, and vendor performance.
- Review Purchase Requests/Orders (PR/PO) to ensure compliance with approval matrices and policies.
- Ensure all purchases adhere to procurement policies, casino regulations, and SOPs.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety and ESG standards.
- Lead data analytics efforts to define strategic priorities annually.
- Manage projects aimed at cost reduction, productivity, and sustainability initiatives like energy savings, solar power, PPA, renewable energy certificates, and carbon credits.
- Handle internal and external audits to ensure compliance.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or Business.
- 5-8 years of procurement experience, with 1-3 years in a team leadership role.
- Knowledge of procurement processes (RFQ/RFT/RFI) and contract administration.
- Strong leadership skills and accountability.
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset, strategic and critical thinking, and good business acumen.
- Team player with project management and problem-solving skills.
- Proven stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to operate in a dynamic environment with multiple requestors.
- Knowledge of SAP/Ariba S2P and Reverse Auction tools is a plus.
