A regional shipping line seeks a Pricing Manager to develop and implement strategies that maximize revenue and profitability. With a focus on market analysis, pricing processes, and collaboration across departments, this role offers a dynamic work environment and a chance to impact the organization directly. The ideal candidate will hold a relevant degree and bring extensive experience in the industry, along with strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:
Establish pricing strategies to maximize lifting, revenue, and profitability.
Understand the pricing process holistically across various stakeholders and the impact of various prices
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to determine optimal pricing to achieve business goals.
Work with overseas agents and manage the daily pricing activities and resolve any operational issues from a commercial perspective.
Monitor service performance and analyze vessel profile to improve cargo mix for optimal results.
Support feasibility service studies, and actively participate in business development initiatives.
Maintain pricing data and ensure accuracy in pricing systems.
Gather market information about industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to pricing.
Perform other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned by management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Maritime, Business, Logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or logistics industry.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make pricing decisions.
Good market knowledge and strong communication skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders.
Motivated and pro-active team player, ability to work independently and collaborate with other departments.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other pricing software/tools.
Less experienced candidates may be considered for an Assistant Manager position.
