Job description

As an integral member of the People & Culture team, you are the designated business partner to the assigned business units. You will play a key role in partnering business leaders and delivering effective and efficient HR services to support the business unit. You will also manage HR initiatives and programs related to rewards, talent management, succession planning, performance management and employee engagement.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Provide people advisory to business leaders to achieve business unit’s strategic objectives.

  • Leverage on HR agenda to help business build capability.

  • Work closely with business leaders in manpower planning, developing and tracking staff headcount and staff cost budget.

  • Identify and develop HR strategies and programs to support business needs and drive business performance.

  • Provide guidance and advice to line managers on managing staff performance and development improvement processes.

  • Resolve staff conflicts and provide coaching, consultative advice and assistance to all employees.

  • Participate in any ad-hoc HR projects/initiative.

The ideal candidate should be/have:

  • Degree in Business Administration with focus in Human Resources Management preferred

  • IHRP Certified.

  • At least 5 years of HR business partnering experience.

  • Collaborative and outcome focus.

  • Good working knowledge of employment legislation, general HR policies and best practices.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong people skills with ability to influence and manage staff of all levels.

  • Hands-on with ability to multi-task in a fast moving and rapidly changing environment.

  • Analytical and able to work comfortably with numbers.
