Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Park Operations
- Drive and support initiatives to achieve strategic and operational goals of the organization and department.
- Oversee the team and manage day-to-day operations, including staff rostering and deployment to ensure efficient and effective operations of the park.
- Oversee and work together with appointed adventure facility vendor daily operation to ensure safe and smooth operations.
- Manage the overall operations of other Adventure facilities not operated by a vendor.
- Plan, develop and execute new and enhanced delivery of guest experience.
- Ensure delivery of excellent guest experience, including management of guest feedback on-ground and closing service lapses.
- Create, review, and enhance Standard Operating Procedures, manuals, and processes.
- Review, propose and execute ideas to improve park-related and guest experience matters.
- People Management
- Manage staff performance, development and growth.
- Build and coach an effective and motivated team.
- Establish and maintain team competencies in systems and processes.
- Budgeting and Reports
- Forecast and manage the team’s budget.
- Generate monthly reports for presentation on matters regarding the park.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Minimum diploma in a relevant field such as Hospitality, Business Management, Tourism, or related field.
- At least 3- 5 years of relevant experience, preferable with experience in Park Operations in Attractions or Service industry, with 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong operational knowledge in managing large-scale attractions, parks, or recreational facilities.
- Strong team leadership and people management skills, with a proven ability to coach, motivate and develop staff.
- Comfortable working in an outdoor or theme park environment, including weekends and public holidays as required.
