Job summary

Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) is seeking team players to join agile IT projects that reengineer business processes and improve how taxpayers connect with us.

You will collaborate across divisions, gather and translate user needs into stories, validate them with developers, and support testing activities including UAT and data migration verification.

Qualifications

• Degree in any discipline, preferably with background in Accountancy or Computer Science.
• Prior experience working on Agile IT projects is preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Good project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Resourceful and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business units to reimage processes and redesign core systems.
• Scope and manage requirements via iterative information gathering with stakeholders.
• Translate user needs into user stories and validate them with the development team.

We are looking for committed team players to join us to apply your expertise and work with agile development teams to re-engineer business processes, perform functionality test and deliver the next generation system that improves how taxpayers connect and interact with us.

What You Will Be Working On

• Collaborate with business units within the division and across IRAS to reimage business processes and redesign how our core system can support IRAS’ future needs through innovation
• Scope and manage business requirements through iterative information gathering in collaboration with stakeholders and capture, analyse and translate user needs into user stories
• Work with the development team to validate user stories as part of the Agile delivery cycle, e.g., user stories grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint demo, etc.
• Embrace digitalization at work and co-create solutions with stakeholders
• Perform and support user acceptance testing activities
• Perform functional testing and verification of data migration
