Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Lead the operations team to ensure effective operation and maintenance of the mall.
• Develop, manage, and execute strategies to improve mall operations.
• Review and enhance operations guidelines, ensuring compliance with requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance programs to maintain safety and optimal performance.
• Prepare annual budgets, manage contracts, and oversee operational works.
• Set benchmarks for contractor performance, including regular inspections for compliance.
• Assist in asset enhancement initiatives, tenant renovation works, and promotional activities.
• Coordinate with the Contract & Procurement Team for maintenance contracts and equipment replacements.
• Guide and develop the operations team to maintain high standards and achieve excellent results.
• Participate in Environmental Health Safety (EHS) activities, including permit reviews, risk assessments, and safety audits.

Requirements:

• Degree in Facility Management, Building, Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a similar role.
• Experience in property or facility management in shopping malls or retail environments is advantageous.
• Experience with major asset enhancement projects is a plus.
• Possession of relevant certifications such as Fire Safety Manager, NEA ECO, or Green Mark Manager is preferred.
• Strong leadership, people management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under tight timelines, self-driven, and resourceful problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in English and computer literacy.
