Responsibilities

1. Operations Management

  • Oversee all operations and manage the Operations Department.
  • Monitor the budget and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Implement risk management practices to mitigate operational risks.

2. Buidling & Security Management

  • Ensure facilities, security, and safety protocols meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for building and safety management.

3. Food & Kitchen Operations

  • Manage kitchen operations, including sourcing and food hygiene standards.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage food vendors for timely, quality delivery.

4. Laundry Services

  • Oversee laundry department and chemical control.
  • Manage vendors to ensure quality and timely laundry service.

5. Housekeeping

  • Ensure cleanliness standards are met in accordance with MOH & NEA regulations.
  • Monitor vendors for adherence to infection control standards.

6. Central Supply & Receiving

  • Manage the supply chain to ensure daily and emergency needs are met.
  • Source cost-effective, value-for-money supplies.

7. Transport Management

  • Oversee internal transport teams and external providers.
  • Ensure fleet maintenance and regulatory compliance.

8. Maintenance

  • Supervise the maintenance team and ensure equipment is properly maintained.

Other Information

Working Hours

Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be as follows:

8.00am to 5.15pm (Monday - Friday, 45 minutes lunch break inclusive)

or

8.30am to 5.45pm (Monday Friday, 45 minutes lunch break inclusive)

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant supervisory or managerial experience in operations management.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing multiple departments, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards (e.g., SCDF, NEA, WSH, MOH)
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management practices and workplace safety standards.
