Job description

You will streamline and integrate research support by ensuring financial sustainability through reviewing, budgeting, forecasting and developing of pricing models of the core research facilities, platforms and programs. You will provide a financial oversight of all SingHealth research funding and engage actively with the management in reviewing the business costs and measures. You will manage, monitor and analyse financial functions and performance for all SingHealth research facilities and prepare the monthly cost centres performance report.

You will act as a liaison point with SingHealth institutions, SingHealth HQ departments and Principal Investigators to understand, manage and forecast the appropriate fund and grant monies. You will prepare grant claim statements and requisition for submission, quarterly cash flow projections and grant variation requests to funding agencies, put up grant budgets and to attend to queries from the different departments and funding agencies. You will provide leadership and coordination in financial/accounting areas during the developmental stage of external collaborations and projects.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accountancy with at least 6 years of working experience
  • Exposure to financial and management accounting in a research and education environment is preferred
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience in financial modelling
  • Good knowledge of regulatory standards
  • Independent, self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft applications
