Overview:
The job holder is responsible for developing the strategy and implementation operations for the National University Centre for Women & Children (NUWoC) Division of Community Family and Child Health (CFCH), to improve family and child health for the western (NUHS) cluster in Singapore.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Develop family and child health strategy for the western cluster, in collaboration with Ministries (e.g., Ministry of Health, Ministry of Social and Family Development), inter-agency bodies (e.g., Regional Health Services Office), and external stakeholders (e.g., community care partners and related agencies). This includes identifying areas of unserved and/or unmet needs and proposing initiatives to address these needs and opportunities (e.g., Grow Well SG).
Design and develop programs: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective interventions and quality improvement initiatives to enhance family and child health in the western cluster.
Manage programme operations and administration: Ensure effective and sustainable programme operations, including secretariat support, funding administration, recruitment, and workflow setup.
Conduct evaluation and promote continuous improvement: Develop and implement timely and effective evaluation strategies.
Integrate and streamline programmes into the overall strategy.
Secondary Job Responsibilities:
Provide cross-coverage for NUWoC Community Operations team.
Support NUWoC and NUH related events.
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in business or healthcare-related disciplines, e.g., public health.
At least 7 years of working experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with experience in sector development and programme management, including more than 2 years in a managerial role.
Prior team leadership experience is an advantage.
Ability to plan strategically with attention to detailed implementation.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and change management skills (e.g., stakeholder and staff engagement).
Strong analytical skills, good time management, and results-oriented approach.
Effective problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Office applications and databases (e.g., Tableau).
