Job Description
Work under supervision on the administrative coordination of the University's research institutes in China
Prepare proposals and reports on the University's research initiatives and projects in China
Liaise with the University's research institutes in China for regular updates and project follow-up
Assist in the development and refinement of SOPs and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and governance oversight of the University's research institutes in China
Coordinate with various faculties and departments on China related programmes, projects and events
Record keeping, data compilation and basic data analysis to support the database development
Secretariat duties including effective coordination and meeting minutes recording
Lead or complete ad-hoc projects and assignments on China related initiatives
Qualifications
A good Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a reputable University
Strong interest in China affairs and good understanding of issues pertaining to China and international relations
Culturally-sensitive, strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
Able to think critically and strategically and have at least 5 years' related working experience
Resourceful, meticulous and self-motivated team player, with proven ability to adapt, function and multi-task effectively in diverse social conditions and changing environments
Excellent coordination and organizational skills, with a customer service mindset
Effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin an advantage
IT savvy and proficient in MS Office applications a plus
