Job description

As a key member of the Heart Protection theme at the National Heart Research Institute of Singapore (NHRIS), National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS), you will take on a dynamic leadership role in executing and managing a significant public-private partnership programme. This position requires you to work closely with Principal Investigators to initiate and coordinate crucial processes whilst providing valuable input and strategic direction for various projects and the overall programme. Your role will involve extensive stakeholder management, building and maintaining relationships across hospitals, research institutions, and industry partners. Additionally, you will spearhead essential administrative responsibilities including meeting facilitation, agreement management, report generation, and budget oversight to ensure seamless programme operations.

  • Degree in Life Sciences or its equivalent with strong background in molecular and cell biology
  • At least 3-5 years’ project management experience in healthcare/research settings, including laboratory operations and financial management
  • Project management certification would be an advantage
  • Proven experience in grant proposal preparation, submission and management, with knowledge of A*STAR reporting requirements
  • Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated ability to supervise teams, manage collaborative research activities, and work independently
