Job description

We are hiring a skilled Network Infrastructure & Operations Manager to oversee the strategic and hands-on management of enterprise-wide networking systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing network environments that support both day-to-day operations and long-term business growth. This is a leadership role requiring strong technical capabilities, process-driven thinking, and the ability to guide teams and manage cross-functional collaboration.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Infrastructure Management

  • Lead planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of network services across production, test, and backup environments.
  • Define and execute lifecycle strategies for network equipment, ensuring components remain current, secure, and supportable.
  • Establish proactive renewal schedules for certificates and credentials across all network devices.

Operational Continuity & Resilience

  • Develop robust disaster recovery strategies and business continuity processes focused on network infrastructure.
  • Conduct regular failover and recovery drills to validate standby systems and fail-safe mechanisms.
  • Ensure network data protection through consistent backup processes and periodic verification.

Issue Resolution & Support

  • Provide expert-level troubleshooting for network-related incidents and ensure resolution within defined SLAs.
  • Analyze incident trends, identify underlying causes, and implement corrective actions to avoid repeat failures.

Security & Compliance Oversight

  • Apply network hardening best practices including patching, firewall rule management, and intrusion prevention techniques.
  • Monitor system vulnerabilities and address potential risks in accordance with corporate security protocols.

Capacity & Network Optimization

  • Monitor bandwidth usage and hardware performance; optimize configurations to meet evolving business demands.
  • Forecast future network needs and initiate scaling efforts accordingly.

Team & Process Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor a team of network engineers, setting clear objectives and ensuring timely delivery of responsibilities.
  • Design operational workflows and enforce compliance with internal governance and regulatory standards.

Configuration & Asset Control

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory of network systems and documentation for audits and upgrades.
  • Track configuration changes and system states using centralized management tools.

Deployment & Change Governance

  • Coordinate the rollout of infrastructure upgrades and changes, adhering to structured change control frameworks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless deployment of network enhancements with minimal disruption.

Project Participation

  • Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver infrastructure components for IT and business-led projects.
  • Lead implementation efforts for network refreshes, expansion, or platform transitions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Author technical documentation, SOPs, and network diagrams to support operational transparency and continuity.
  • Provide performance and incident reporting to support executive decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in network and security equipment such as Firewalls, Intrusion Detection systems, Routers, Switches, Load Balancer, VPN, DNS
  • CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, CCSA, CCSE
  • At least 6 years in network infrastructure roles, with experience in leading teams and managing complex enterprise systems.
