Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to shape impactful communications for a public agency. You will lead end-to-end plans, manage media relations, and coordinate with ministries and industry partners to ensure consistent messaging.

This 1-year contract role requires a communications-focused degree and 5+ years in related fields. Office-based in Singapore, Monday to Friday with standard hours.

Qualifications

• Requires 5 years of relevant experience in communications, PR, journalism, government or corporate communications.
• Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or related field.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join a public agency in developing impactful communications plans, and managing media relations and industry partners.

Up to $6,500 per month

1-year contract

Labrador Park MRT

Mon - Fri, office hours

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement end-to-end public communications strategies and plans to raise awareness of business programmes, policies and initiatives.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand programme priorities and develop effective messaging aligned with organisational objectives.
• Coordinate communications efforts with internal business teams, external agencies, ministries and industry partners to ensure alignment.
• Analyse data and insights to develop strategic communications plans and manage public narratives across multiple channels.
• Oversee media relations and engagement , including media briefings, press materials, media pitches, interview requests, speaking points and speeches.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to harmonise communications plans and messaging, ensuring effective outreach to target audiences.

Requirements

• Singaporeans only.
• Possesses a Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related discipline with 5 years of relevant experience in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Government Communications, or Corporate Communications.
• Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
