About the Role
We are seeking a marketing & communications leader to elevate Bhumi's brand. You will develop strategies for engagement with employees, volunteers, donors, partner organizations, and corporate entities. You will lead a dynamic team of young professionals and volunteers, building an effective Marcomms team aligned with Bhumi's goals.
Primary Responsibilities
- Create innovative communication ideas and deploy industry best practices to enhance Bhumi's brand.
- Design and monitor targeted online and offline campaigns.
- Use data insights and feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Strategize and execute brand and lead generation campaigns for volunteers, donors, and organizations.
- Support digital fundraising and engagement initiatives to acquire and retain donors and fundraisers.
Other Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with Bhumi's mission.
- Oversee creation of marketing materials, digital content, and press releases for consistent messaging.
- Lead social media strategy to engage volunteers, donors, and partners.
- Collaborate with program teams to showcase successes and stories.
- Analyze and report on strategy effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments.
- Foster innovation within the MarComms team.
- Orchestrate a cohesive PR strategy to amplify Bhumi's message and public image.
Educational Qualification/Experience
5-8 years in marketing/communications; Bachelor's/Master's in marketing, journalism, business, or related fields; NGO experience preferred.
Skills & Knowledge
- Creatively curious with copywriting and content creation skills.
- Good understanding of web analytics, digital, and social media marketing.
- Effective storyteller with a consistent content approach.
- Tech-savvy; marketing tech stack knowledge is advantageous.
- Willing to work in a multicultural environment and collaborate across locations.
- Strong project management skills and a proven track record in strategy execution.
