Key Accountabilities
Oversees the efficient movement, distribution, and storage of goods, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery to customers.
Manage inventory, transportation, and warehousing operations, and may also be involved in negotiating contracts and resolving logistics-related issues.
Supervise subordinates on daily operations.
Establish and maintain performance by systematically orienting, training, and developing subordinates; manage staff by counseling and disciplining; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
Complete operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; improving workflow and following up on work results to provide excellent support and service to our customers, maximize resources, and minimize wastage for the Company.
Source, evaluate, negotiate, engage, and assess the performance of transport companies and forwarding agents; ensure the compliance of their performance with our pre-determined customer service standards.
Attend to dealer/customers’ complaints such as delivery, damaged units, short supply, and returned units; make effective decisions pertaining to the claims and exchange of goods by the customer in line with respective policy and practices.
Address customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries and logistics.
Any ad hoc duties as assigned by the reporting officer.
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in supply chain at management level and inventory management, sales forecasting, and logistics.
Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for interacting with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
The ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions is crucial.
