Manager, Line Management - 12months FTC

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Our client is the leading independent feeder carrier globally. With a fleet exceeding 100 vessels, the company offers dependable and economical feeder services to support worldwide shipping operations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Profit and Loss Management: Full responsibility for overseeing profit and loss, improving cost efficiency, and optimizing yield.
2. Ship Selection: Choose ships with optimal intake, speed, and bunker consumption, and monitor daily bunker consumption.
3. Port Operations: Secure port call berth windows, negotiate terminal contracts, and manage indirect costs.
4. Claims Handling: Address cargo, container, and vessel damage claims in collaboration with the legal team.
5. Market Analysis: Analyze market demand and supply, strategize trade routes, and understand competitor activities.
6. Service Expansion: Increase sailing frequency and service coverage through deployment or slot swaps.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's degree in maritime business or business management.
2. At least 7 years of experience in shipping line trade.
3. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Strategic thinking and quick decision-making abilities.
5. Strong analytical skills for assessing situations, systems, and problems.
6. Proven leadership capabilities.
