Job Description- Lead internal investigations into fraud, misconduct, harassment, and labour rights violations.
- Manage the Group's whistleblowing reporting channels (e.g. hotline, email, web portal), including case intake, triage, and documentation.
- Monitor and respond to whistleblower complaints in a timely and confidential manner, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution.
- Maintain and regularly review the whistleblowing case log, ensuring adherence to established timelines, confidentiality protocols, and data protection standards.
- Conduct case reviews and provide periodic reports to management and the Audit & Risk Committee (ARC) on whistleblowing trends and outcomes.
- Promote awareness and trust in whistleblowing channels through employee communication, training, and safeguarding of non-retaliation policies.
- Support internal audit assignments and provide input on control design and governance improvements.
- Conduct interviews, gather evidence, and prepare structured reports for management and the ARC.
- Track investigation trends and support implementation of systemic improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on disciplinary or remedial actions.
- Participate in knowledge sharing, team training, and process enhancements within the audit/investigation function.
- Execute ad hoc reviews and special projects as assigned.
Additional Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Law, Business, Compliance, or a related field
- Minimum 6 to 10 years of relevant experience in investigations, audit, or compliance, preferably with a background in forensic or advisory services.
- Experience in handling internal investigations, managing whistleblowing cases and conducting forensic reviews.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk, and internal control frameworks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with data analytics tools.
- Strong proficiency in report writing, interviewing, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of labour practices, anti-bribery, and regulatory frameworks.
- Good understanding of the marine engineering, construction, and allied industry.
- Candidates with less extensive experience may be considered for an alternative mid-level position aligned with their skills and experience.
