Job summary

Ministry of Defence of Singapore seeks a security professional to manage operational security and information policies across projects. You will classify, handle, store, transmit and dispose of information with rigor and integrity.

You will develop security awareness campaigns, briefings and workshops, and serve as a key contact for security and information management. You will liaise with agencies on compliance, audits and security matters, plan events, and manage budgets and risks while

Qualifications

• 3+ years in security-related industry, with exposure to project or security management.
• Experience in event planning, execution and monitoring, including budgets, schedules and risks.
• Willingness to learn and capacity for continual learning.

What You Will Be Working On

• Oversee the proper classification, handling, storage, transmission and disposal of information
• Develop and conduct security awareness campaigns, briefings and workshops
• Serve as a key point of contact for security and information management
• Liaise with internal and external agencies on compliance, audits and security-related matters
• Plan, execute and monitor events, including managing budgets, schedules and risks

• Adapting to a constantly changing landscape and schedule, and demonstrating resilience in managing unexpected situations calmly
• Managing team and individual performance, which can be complicated by differing skill sets and the challenges of a hierarchical structure
• Protecting sensitive data while sharing information efficiently and securely, with a duty to safeguard national interest and sensitive information

What We Are Looking For

• Education in Engineering, Science, or a related field is preferred
• At least 3 years of working experience in the security-related industry, with exposure to project or security management, is preferred
• Experience in event planning, execution and monitoring, including managing budgets, schedules and risks
• Willingness to learn and having a capacity for continual learning
• Ability to adapt to new situations and navigate change effectively
  Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
