Job summary

A leading company in HR Consulting seeks an experienced HR Consultant to oversee projects primarily in the Asia Oceania region. The successful candidate will lead various HR initiatives, provide guidance to junior staff, and manage client relationships while developing HR strategies tailored to client needs.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a Manager in HR Consultancy or HRBP.
• High proficiency in Business English; Business Japanese is an advantage.
• Experience in HR Management and project management in policy implementation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HR consulting projects including strategy development and client relationship management.
• Provide guidance to junior members and support HR initiatives in the Asia Oceania region.
• Execute complete HR consulting projects from proposal to closure.

Job description

The main responsibility is to provide services related to HR consulting, advice on various labour issues, and other HR related services to clients mainly in Asia Oceania region under supervision of Superiors.

This position requires the candidate to provide junior members with advice and guidance in the preparation, execution, and completion of projects related to HR Consulting.

Execute HR consulting projects.

• Develop and design HR strategies, policies and initiatives; grade, remuneration, performance management, talent management, succession planning etc., to solve clients’ issues.

• Conduct analysis including job evaluation and identify clients’ current state and issues.

• Execute whole HR consulting project; make proposal, plan whole schedule, arrange meetings, lead, and facilitate communication with clients and stakeholders, create deliverables, and close the project.

• Provide advice on miscellaneous labor issues in each country in partnership with local experts and the legal department.

Participate in Global and Regional (Asia Oceania) HR Initiatives

• Take part in executing global and regional HR initiatives in cooperation with CRO and HQ.

• Support overseas offices mainly in Asia Oceania Region in operations such as appraisal process, salary & bonus review, promotion review, training of HR managers/staff at each office.

Relationship management

• Build trustful relationships with clients, partners, parent companies and other stakeholders.

• Any other ad hoc or additional and/or related tasks or duties e.g., assisting recruitment of group companies, as per delegated by the Management.

Requirements

• High level knowledge, skills and experience in HR consulting.

• Knowledge of organizational design, HR due diligence, global HR is preferred

• Preferably 5 - 8 years' experience as Manager in HR Consultancy firm, HRBP or planning role in non- Consultancy firm will be considered

• Experience in HR Management, Project Management in HR policy implementation, Job evaluation

• High proficiency in Business English (listening, speaking reading and writing)

• Business Japanese language is not necessary but is advantageous, as you might deal with Japanese counterparts
