Manager, Health Solutions

What the day will look like

You will be part of the Health Solutions team, one of the fastest growing teams, in charge of advising clients on their medical, life, wellness, and flexible benefit strategy. Within the Global Benefit Management team dedicated to inbound business, your role will be to manage a portfolio of medium to large multinational companies independently and work alongside senior team members on large complex multinational companies.

  • Develop strong client relationships and understand their needs regarding employee benefits, ensuring placement with the insurer or program of their choice.
  • Understand and stay current on each client’s business situation, strategy, HR, risk, and finance needs, and upsell or cross-sell suitable products.
  • Stay abreast of developments in the insurance markets.
  • Conduct pre-renewal and renewal meetings with clients.
  • Ensure renewal terms are competitive by reviewing renewal terms and analyzing claims data.
  • Prepare renewal documents such as proposals, claim analyses, benchmarking exercises, communication decks, and handbooks.
  • Conduct communication sessions on benefits programs for employees and partners.
  • Handle inquiries from HR and employees.
  • Follow up on employee movements and underwriting requirements for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure prompt premium payments from assigned accounts.
  • Act as the single escalation point and provide resolutions for HR and employees on unresolved issues.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Degree or Diploma from a recognized university or polytechnic.
  • Minimum regulatory requirements (BCP, PGI, CommGI, HI, M5, M9) for registration as Broking and FA representative with MAS.
  • At least 5 years of related experience.
  • Leadership skills to manage teams.
  • Analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective collaboration across departments and the organization.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
  • Positive attitude, influencing skills, and willingness to embrace change.
  • Alignment with departmental and organizational goals.
  • Self-directed growth and development.
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
