Are you a seasoned leader with a passion for operational excellence and public service? We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Director / Senior Manager to lead a team of Grant Processing Officers and drive impactful outcomes across grant administration and service delivery. What You’ll Be Doing:

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 10+ officers, building a cohesive and high-performing culture
  • Drive individual development and team resilience through regular check-ins and capability-building initiatives

️ Operational Excellence

  • Oversee the full grant processing lifecycle – from application reviews to approvals – across multiple schemes
  • Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and service quality in all operations

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Monitor KPIs, generate regular dashboards and reports
  • Use advanced Excel tools to identify trends, risks, and improvement areas

Governance & Compliance

  • Uphold internal controls and ensure adherence to audit, policy, and regulatory standards

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with policy owners and internal teams to resolve complex cases and streamline processes

️ Risk & Service Management

  • Manage escalations with professionalism and fairness
  • Anticipate operational risks and ensure continuity in service delivery
What We’re Looking For:
  • Degree in Business, Finance, Project Management or related disciplines
  • 8+ years of experience in grants management, operations, or service delivery – preferably in the public sector
  • 3+ years in a leadership role managing large operational teams (10 or more)
  • Proficient in Excel for data tracking, analysis, and performance reporting
  • Excellent people management, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills
  • Analytical, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, policy-driven environment
