Job Description
"NUS Global" or NUS Global Relations Office (GRO) is the international engagement arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS), serving a dual mandate. Broadly, GRO curates and manages mobility programmes that provide NUS students learning experiences abroad to support their educational, professional and personal development. GRO is also responsible for building collaborative relationships with overseas counterparts through alliances, networks and other channels to create value for our stakeholders.
We are looking for driven, resourceful, astute, flexible, independent individuals to join our team. You will be able to meaningfully impact NUS students' university experience, through judicious management and development of global partnerships, programmes and opportunities. The role/s may be adapted to the right candidate/s strengths and interests.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage NUS' student mobility programmes with partner institutions.
- Work with internal stakeholders to enhance students' global mobility experience.
- Administer relevant financial aid to support student mobility programme participation.
- Support global mobility programme marketing and student engagement efforts.
- Monitor global events and assess their impact on NUS' global strategy.
- Analyse information and data, and identify global mobility trends to inform decision-making.
- Advise and support senior management's engagement with external parties, including facilitating meetings with partner institutions.
- Prepare interaction reports on NUS' engagement with partner institutions/global entities.
- Represent NUS at international conferences and events to promote the university's global presence, branding and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications
- University degree.
- 3 to 6 years of experience in international relations, partnership development and management, education programmes administration, or a related field in higher education.
- Excellent communication skills and command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills and culturally sensitive.
- Strong understanding and/or interest in global trends.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, time-management and organisational skills.
- Proactive, resourceful, and adaptable.
- Experience in student engagement and/or global engagement would be advantageous.
