You will be required to execute, implement and manage SNEC-Global Eye Health (GEH) projects in line with the GEH Strategy with a focus on fostering collaboration, education, research grant and fund management.

Job Responsibilities

Lead special projects or initiatives as they arise across SNEC-GEH.

Drive innovation and iteration within projects to create greater outcomes aligned with organisation’s strategic objectives.

End-to-end project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Engage potential partners to seek financial and non-financial support, and source for grant calls and facilitate submission of grant applications.

Prepare and execute collaborative contracts, memorandums of understanding for various SNEC-GEH projects.

Manage SNEC-GEH outreach team travel arrangements, and sourcing of various equipment and consumables.

Prepare reports for the management team regarding the status of projects.

Manage project budgets based on requirements and track costs to deliver projects on budget.

Organise Global Young Ophthalmology Conferences and also Global Eye Health Leadership program in conjunction with SNEC Corporate Communications.

Engage with potential partnersin conjunction with SNEC Visionsave team to secure financial and non-financial support.

Source grant calls and facilitate submission of grant applications.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with minimum 5 years of experience in project management, designing and implementing programmes.

Highly driven and resourceful individual with strong critical thinking, project management and organisation skills, able to handle multiple projects and timelines under pressure.

Have a strong interest in social investment / philanthropy and experience in fund raising for philanthropy work would be an advantage.

Analytical, inquisitive, business minded and strong team player who can work with all levels of the organization.

Possess strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
