Manager, General Ledger (Immediately Available | Up to SGD 6K)

Our client is a European MNC in the Education Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support a small team of finance professionals in delivering accurate and timely reporting.
• Ensure all financial records are prepared in accordance with accounting standards and statutory obligations.
• Drive the preparation and timely submission of group-level consolidation reports.
• Oversee tax and GST submissions, ensuring full compliance with regulatory deadlines.
• Act as the key liaison with external auditors during the year-end audit cycle.
• Review balance sheet schedules to confirm accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Prepare and maintain lease accounting schedules under IFRS 16 and support CGU modelling, responding to related queries as needed.

Key Requirements:

• A degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles, with exposure to consolidated reporting.
• Strong working knowledge of IFRS 16 lease accounting standards.
• Prior experience using ERP tools; familiarity with Oracle NetSuite is a bonus.
• Strong eye for detail with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities effectively.
• Skilled communicator with the ability to engage various internal and external stakeholders.
• Prior experience in audit (external or internal) is a plus.
