We are looking for a driven and strategic Assistant Manager / Manager, Freight (Sales & Operations) to lead business development initiatives and oversee operational excellence within a freight forwarding division. This is a leadership role that combines client acquisition and relationship management with hands-on operational coordination, contributing directly to revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To drive and achieve sales and revenue targets by developing new business opportunities and expanding existing client accounts.

  2. To lead client engagement efforts through regular, structured interactions to ensure account retention and growth.

  3. To strategically identify and pursue new markets and prospects aligned with company goals.

  4. To deliver compelling customer presentations and proposals that address client needs and differentiate our offerings.

  5. To lead coordination efforts for end-to-end shipment execution, ensuring high standards of service and timely delivery.

  6. To monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders and product teams.

  7. To mentor junior team members and contribute to building best practices in sales processes, customer engagement, and operations.

  8. To collaborate across departments to align sales strategies with operational capabilities and customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related discipline.

  • At least 4-5 years of relevant sales experience in freight forwarding, with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed targets.

  • Proven track record in freight forwarding client acquisition and strategic account management.

  • Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of supply chain and logistics operations.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proactive, resourceful, and results-driven with a strong sense of accountability.
