Job description

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Finance professional to join our FP&A team as Manager – FP&A. In this role, you will lead financial planning and performance management for a portfolio of high-growth businesses across Southeast Asia, including Fave, Payments, Instalments, and Merchant Acquiring. You will play a critical role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, business partnering, and strategic decision support across the region.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead the annual budget and quarterly forecasting cycles for assigned business units.
  • Develop detailed financial models to support scenario analysis and strategic planning.
  • Business Performance & Reporting: Drive monthly business performance reviews (MBR), variance analysis, and insights generation.
  • Monitor key business metrics (e.g., GMV, take rate, margins) and identify opportunities for margin improvement and cost optimization.
  • Business Partnering: Partner closely with General Managers, Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to provide financial insights and drive accountability.
  • Support go-to-market initiatives, promotions, and strategic investments with clear ROI analysis.
  • Strategic Projects: Support new product rollouts (e.g., Visa Instalments), pricing strategy reviews, and cross-functional strategic projects.
  • Contribute to long-range planning, M&A evaluations, and special projects as needed.
  • Process & Systems: Enhance reporting frameworks, automate financial dashboards, and contribute to system improvements (e.g., Anaplan, Power BI).

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field. CPA/MBA preferred.
  • 5-6 years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy roles, preferably in tech, fintech, or payments industry.
  • Strong financial modelling, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; experience with financial systems like SAP, Oracle, or Anaplan a plus.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across geographies.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and matrixed environment.
