Responsibilities
- Manage financial reporting activities to ensure compliance with accounting regulations, laws and standards
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities for monthly-closing in SAP
- Review and consolidate financial statements, balance sheet account schedules annd variance analyis
- Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
- Liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audits
- Support management reporting requirements to joint venture partners, government authorities and other stakeholders
- Analyse and interpret impact of new accounting standards, reporting requirements and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
- Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues
- Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems
Requirements
- Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial/management reports
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Strong people management, leadership, communication and analytical skills
- Be a part of process improvement and finance transformation projects
