Job Summary

The mission of the Syndigo Financial Planning & Analysis Manager is to balance the financial needs of our business while forecasting how these needs align with our short-term and long-term growth initiatives. You will work to maintain and improve our financial forecast models, perform monthly analysis, and monitor key performance indicators. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance and collaborates with executive leadership.

Responsibilities
  1. Partner directly with executive leaders and cost owners.
  2. Coordinate the annual budget, quarterly reforecasts, and monthly close processes for FP&A.
  3. Perform variance and trend analysis comparing actual, budgeted, and forecasted data, providing actionable insights.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance and create KPIs and reporting packages using financial and non-financial metrics.
  5. Use modeling and analysis skills to develop solutions for complex business challenges.
  6. Develop profitability assessments for different lines of business to support decision-making.
  7. Contribute to the preparation of monthly financial reports for executive management.
  8. Maintain and enhance the EPM tool.
  9. Perform other duties and ad hoc analyses as required.
Required Skills & Abilities
  • Experience with Workday, Adaptive Insights, NetSuite (preferred).
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, PivotTables, Macros).
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or equivalent.
  • SaaS or software industry experience is a plus.
