St Luke's ElderCare Ltd in Singapore is recruiting a Manager, Financial Control & Grants to lead financial accounting, treasury, fixed assets, grant accounting and statutory reporting, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.   • Bachelor degree in Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • 5–7 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting.
  • Strong audit, treasury and grants experience.
  • Experience leading ERP implementations or finance transformation projects.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; data analytics skills a plus.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.

Responsibilities

  • Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger and financial records.
  • Oversee cash flow management, banking and investments.
  • Monitor liquidity and funding requirements.
  • Support treasury planning and reporting.
  • Oversee grant accounting, utilisation monitoring and reporting.

  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ensure accurate depreciation and grant accretion accounting.
  • Support asset verification and control processes.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits.

MANAGER, FINANCIAL CONTROL & GRANTS

Job Purpose

The Manager, Financial Control & Grants is responsible for financial accounting, treasury, fixed assets, grant accounting and statutory reporting, ensuring integrity of financial records and compliance with accounting and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee cash flow management, banking and investments.

  • Ensure compliance with grant conditions and funding requirements.

4. Fixed Assets Management

  • Oversee fixed asset accounting and asset lifecycle management.
  • Ensure accurate depreciation and grant accretion accounting.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor of Accountancy, Finance or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5-7 years relevant experience.
  • Strong audit and financial accounting, treasury and grants experience.
  • Experience leading ERP implementation, finance transformation or chart of accounts redesign projects.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with financial reporting tools, dashboards and data analytics would be advantageous.
