Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

GL Maintenance & Oversight

  • Maintain the integrity of the general ledger accounts.
  • Ensure all journal entries are properly recorded, reviewed, and approved.
  • Reconcile sub-ledgers (e.g., accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets) to the general ledger.

Month-End & Year-End Close

  • Involve in the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and auditors during financial closing.

Account Reconciliation

  • Handle account reconciliations and ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Resolve discrepancies and post adjustments as needed.

Internal Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).

Tax Compliance

  • Preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns (e.g., income tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax).
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws.

Tax Audits & Disputes

  • Liaise with tax authorities and prepare documentation for tax filing and audits

Systems & Process Improvements

  • Work with IT and ERP teams to optimize financial systems.
  • Improve automation and efficiency in reporting and tax processes.
