Job description

Summary:

We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Finance Business Partner to support key financial processes including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. This role works closely with both finance and operations teams to ensure data accuracy, generate meaningful insights, and drive better business decisions. The position also contributes to internal control activities and process improvements, with leadership potential to support broader business performance management in the future.


Main Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly and quarterly forecasting processes, working with team leads to ensure assumptions are realistic and data driven.
  • Prepare and analyse financial and operational performance reports, including variance analysis.
  • Assist in annual budgeting exercises and ensure alignment with business targets.
  • Identify and investigate variances and trends in key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with finance and operational teams to improve processes, data flows and reporting.
  • Contribute to ad-hoc financial modelling and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
  • Support internal controls testing and continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Help identify and implement process improvements, especially where finance and operations intersect

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with large datasets and translating them into actionable insights.
  • Experience with reporting or planning tools (e.g., Power BI, SAP) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and how to apply them to operational performance.
  • Proficiency in accounting and operational software, including Microsoft Office or similar tools. Ability to learn and navigate new systems quickly.
  • Good communication skills to present findings to both finance and non-finance audiences.
  • A proactive approach to identifying gaps or improvement opportunities.
