Job summary

A leading aviation company seeks a Manager Finance in Singapore to lead the Finance function and team across Hong Kong and Singapore. You'll ensure compliance with IFRS and US GAAP, manage financial reporting, and provide strategic financial leadership. The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of relevant experience, ideally in the aviation sector, and strong SAP skills are a plus. This role requires excellent project management and communication skills and offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in aviation industry is an advantage.
  • SAP experience is a plus.
  • Able to work independently and consult effectively.

Position Summary

The Manager Finance is in a management position that leads the Finance function and the Finance team in Hong Kong & Singapore. This position reports to the Director of Finance APAC FBO & ACM, and dotted line to both the Site Leaders of the MRO and the Aircraft Management businesses. The role is a key business partner to the Site Leaders.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain full set of accounts for Jet Aviation Hong Kong and Jet Aviation Business Jets (HK & SGP), Jet Aviation San Marino.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations and US GAAP.
  • Prepare monthly reporting package to Head Office
  • Submissions of Monthly & Quarterly Financial performance to HQ via SAP
  • Submission of monthly & Quarterly variance analysis for Day 2 Bridge & Day 5 reporting to APAC LT
  • Submission of Monthly financial forecast, risk & opportunity, and Cashflow forecast via SAP BW to HQ
  • Represent all the ACM APAC based line of business as the primary contact on financial information requested from HQ and Asia Pacific Management.

  • Submission of statutory corporate tax and GST returns
  • Liaise with HQ and local law firm on legal issues and with HQ Insurance on insurance issues
  • Liaise with Company Secretary and HQ on company secretarial issues
  • Implement and document Delegation of Authority, Accounting and Controls Processes in line with SOX requirements
  • Manage a team providing client accounting services to Aircraft Management clients. This includes costing control, billings to customers and client reporting services.
  • Business partners to the Site Leaders. Providing financial leadership and data analytics in promoting sound commercial and financial decisions and behaviours.
  • Support system implementation and post go-live matters
  • Any Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company
Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years relevant experience in Finance and Accounting
  • Relevant experience in aviation industry is an advantage but not a must
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
  • Able to consult with management on financial issues with a hands‑on perspective.
  • Effective in project management and coordinate with department managers with positive and progressive perspective.
  • Adhere to deadlines for statutory submissions and project deadlines.
