Job description

Summary:

The Manager, Finance will oversee key areas of group-level finance, including FP&A, credit control, internal controls, and consolidation support. The role collaborates with business units and senior leadership to ensure financial transparency, drive planning discipline, and maintain control over group-wide financial performance. The position plays a pivotal role in maintaining operational alignment and enabling informed decision-making at the group level.

Main Roles & Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

  • Lead the group’s financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.

  • Develop and maintain financial models and scenario analysis to support executive decision-making.

  • Collaborate with business units to align financial plans with strategic goals. Credit Control:

  • Oversee group-level AR monitoring and credit risk exposure.

  • Set and review credit policies, limits, and overdue AR escalation processes.

  • Collaborate with local offices to ensure consistent credit control practices.

Internal Controls & Compliance:

  • Design and implement group-level internal control frameworks.

  • Conduct risk assessments and ongoing monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

  • Provide guidance to local entities on internal control improvements.

Treasury & Cash Flow Oversight:

  • Monitor group-wide cash positions, intercompany funding flows, and liquidity needs.

  • Oversee maintenance of authorised signatory lists and bank portal access controls.

  • Liaise with banks on account openings, mandate updates, and user setups.

Collaboration & Reporting:

  • Work closely with the Group Financial Reporting & Consolidation team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

  • Liaise with local finance teams and overseas offices to ensure clear accountability and consistent implementation of group policies.

Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.

  • At least 5 years of experience in group finance roles, with strong exposure to FP&A, credit control, and internal controls.

  • Strong understanding of financial systems, data integrity, and process improvements.

  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Solid experience in setting and enforcing credit control policies across multiple entities.

  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with hands-on operational execution.

  • Familiarity with multi-entity financial consolidation and reporting requirements.
