A leading healthcare facility is seeking a Facility Manager to oversee operations and compliance across multiple properties. The role includes managing building maintenance, leading emergency response efforts, and ensuring safety standards. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in facility management, relevant certifications, and excellent communication skills.
SACH Facilities
Provide support and assistance to the Head of Group Facilities.
Manage daily operations of building maintenance, M&E, cleaning, security, pest control, and landscaping.
Oversee daily operations of reception/triage, visitor registration, and compliance.
Manage daily operations of Bio-Medical Engineering and oversee bio-medical equipment maintenance.
Serve as Fire Safety Manager—conduct fire drills, staff training, and ensure compliance within the hospital.
Lead SACH emergency response efforts for incidents like fire, haze, and terrorism.
Manage ad hoc building and facilities projects within the hospital, including Capex projects, tendering, and contract awards.
Support renovations, maintenance, and facilities issues at Senior Care Centers and SAMWMC team.
Group Facilities
Manage daily operations for building, M&E, cleaning, security, and pest control at SAC Tanjong Pagar.
Manage lease negotiations, renewals, and documentation for 14 tenants at SAC Tanjong Pagar, coordinating with agents, lawyers, and authorities.
Oversee tenant office renovations and compliance at SAC Tanjong Pagar.
Market vacant units actively at SAC Tanjong Pagar.
Handle lease renewals for all SAMH/SACS properties with SLA, HDB, MOH, and MSF.
Manage renovation projects for properties, including tendering and awarding contracts to consultants and contractors.
Lead group tenders for all SAMH and SACS properties, e.g., electricity retailing, fire protection, ACMV, card access, CCTV, PA, and pest control.
Assist SAMH/SACS properties with facilities and maintenance issues.
Ad hoc Work Outside of Facilities
Coordinate National Day and Christmas decorations at SACH.
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Group CEO, CEO, and COO.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in Facility Management.
Diploma/Degree in Facilities/Building Management/Engineering or a relevant field.
Valid Fire Safety Manager certification is required.
Preferably hold additional certifications such as Green Mark Manager or Workplace Safety and Health Manager.
Demonstrate independence, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing work proactively and flexibly.
Effective collaboration and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in written and verbal communication, with the ability to present ideas clearly and translate feedback into actionable tasks.
Operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
