A leading company in MICE services seeks a Sales Manager to drive sales growth and build customer relationships in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and a strong background in event sales and business development, with a focus on achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities include executing sales strategies, managing customer accounts, and collaborating with creative and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth for Quebec, including MICE services. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities and building strong, lasting customer relationships. The Sales Manager will oversee the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to deal closure and ongoing customer satisfaction—ensuring the achievement of sales targets and business objectives. The incumbent will be involved in the ideation process alongside with the Creative Team and ensure the seamless delivery and execution with Project Managers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in event sales, business development, MICE, or corporate sales
- Proven track record as an independent, solution-oriented sales professional
- Strong background in the MICE industry, or experience in venue, hospitality, or events sectors
- In-depth knowledge of the events industry, including venue management, event logistics, and best practices
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and continuous learning
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality and service
- Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as needed for event execution
