Job description:

The Environment and Sustainability (E&S) team drives CAG's strategy and initiatives to build a sustainable Changi Airport. These include carbon emissions reduction, energy transition, circular economy, water conservation, climate resilience, compliance with environmental regulations, and sustainable procurement.

As a Manager within the E&S team, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and advocating policy positions on environmental and sustainability matters with key airport stakeholders, regulators, and government agencies.
  • Facilitating strategic discussions on environmental considerations across the company, including with senior management.
  • Partnering with project teams to assess and prioritize sustainability solutions for Changi Airport at the planning, design, and execution stages.
  • Tracking and reporting on material ESG matters, key metrics, and sustainability disclosure requirements.
  • Supporting other environmental initiatives, such as emissions reduction, waste management, and water conservation.

Requirements:

  • A good degree, preferably in Environmental Sustainability, Engineering, Economics, Business or Social Sciences.
  • At least 6 to 9 years of relevant working experience in policy formulation, with domain knowledge in environment and sustainability.
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Strong data analysis capability and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient writing, storyboarding and presentation abilities.
