Job description:

Responsibilities:

  1. Stay up-to-date on changes to safety regulations and industry best practices
  2. Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  3. Prepare reports and presentations on safety performance and provide recommendations for improvement
  4. Plan and execute the safety management system audits
  5. Support project & department compliance with EHS regulations & policies
  6. Work with clients to develop or improve the safety management system
  7. Collaborate with operations/EHS team to develop policies and procedures specific to their needs
  8. Organise and conduct EHS inspections on assigned projects
  9. Drive project EHSMS for compliance
  10. Participate in EHS-related incident investigations
  11. Manage EHS management policies & procedures
  12. Undertake any other tasks as directed by SVP/Head, Naval Services and VP/Head, EHS

Requirements:

  1. Diploma/Degree related to EHS or any Engineering fields
  2. Possess Hotwork Assessor Certification & Confined Space Assessor Certification as added advantages
  3. Good understanding of Workplace Safety & Health Act & Shipbuilding & Ship Repairs regulations
  4. Good report writing, incident investigation, and analytical skills
  5. Possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  6. Proficient in MS Office for reporting and presentation purposes

Other Information:

  1. Location: Benoi Road (Island-wide transport provided)
  2. 5 days work week
  3. Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm
