What You Will Do
1. Lead eCommerce growth strategy
- Steer eRetail channel strategy and growth plans, working closely with retail partners to deliver tailored activations.
- Build and manage promo calendars that balance “always-on” visibility with impactful tactical campaigns.
- Nurture strong partnerships with retailers to drive sustainable sales growth.
2. Be brilliant at the basics
- Ensure flawless execution of product content, search optimisation, and media promotion, supported by agencies and internal teams.
- Track KPIs against our PICOS framework, raising the bar for execution excellence.
3. Scale through digital media
- Define and deliver media strategies that balance in-platform and out-of-platform campaigns to maximise conversions.
- Partner with marketing to design campaigns, optimise performance, and oversee reporting that drives continuous improvement.
- Apply a mix of paid, organic, and creative digital hacks to accelerate impact.
4. Shape the shopper experience
- Bring fresh ideas to influence shopper behaviour and enhance our brand presence on the eRetailer digital shelf.
- Brief agencies and teams on copywriting, design, and imagery to create perfect product pages and seamless user journeys.
5. Turn data into action
- Analyse conversion data, search rank performance, and availability metrics to drive clear actions.
- Tell compelling stories back to the business with insights and recommendations that shape future growth.
6. Collaborate and inspire
- Partner with sales teams to deliver plans in creative, customer-focused ways.
- Act as the local voice for global eCommerce colleagues, sharing insights that influence worldwide strategies.
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in eCommerce marketing, ideally in mature digital categories such as health, beauty, toys, or apparel. FMCG experience is a plus.
- Alternatively, proven success within a digital pureplay business with deep knowledge of what it takes to win on a platform.
- Strong expertise in channel strategy, promo calendar management, and eRetail activations.
- Hands-on experience with digital media, campaign optimisation, and conversion-driving strategies.
- Deep understanding of eCommerce drivers: content, availability, and search ranking.
- Analytical and data-savvy, able to translate performance into actions and business storytelling.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to influence across sales, marketing, agencies, and global teams.
