Job description

Job Purpose

Ralph Lauren is seeking a highly motivated and strategic professional to drive digital business growth and development on marketplaces in Singapore and Malaysia. This critical role will focus on accelerating business expansion, leveraging data-driven insights to enhance consumer understanding, and amplifying customer acquisition, engagement, and advocacy on third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities

A) Marketplace Growth Strategy and Key Opportunities

  • Understand SEA marketplaces' strategy, its key strength and growth strategy
  • Define a tailored approach for working with each marketplace, developing future growth strategies and identifying opportunities for expansion.
  • Analyze RL performance across business, customer, media, and campaign metrics, identifying core growth pillars, ambition, and operating models (strategic projects, way of working, resource required)
  • Design a collaborative workflow with cross-functional teams, motivating and influencing key stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and drive growth ambitions.

B) Platform Operations Management

  • Serve as the primary point of contact of marketplace business for internal and external stakeholders, oversee daily operations including, content management, site UI/UX & innovation, campaign planning and execution and order fulfillment.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal functional teams, external enablers, and marketplace partners to secure resources and ensure successful operational plan execution.
  • Fully own platform P&L, driving sales strategy through identified growth drivers, customer acquisition, and meeting turnover and profit targets
  • Support CRM initiatives including member acquisition and loyalty programs.
  • Collaborate with APAC creative teams for store UI/UX improvements.
  • Partner with X-functional teams on product planning and pricing strategies.
  • Manage special projects such as SBD, Member/VIC program, O2O (Online-to-Offline) initiatives…etc.

C) Performance Analytics & Planning

  • Establish and track key operational KPIs on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Generate and analyze comprehensive business performance reports to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Provide actionable, data-driven insights and recommendations to drive business improvement and growth.
  • Analyze industry trends, customer behaviors, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Present performance reviews to senior management, coupled with innovative solutions and strategic recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent will be preferred
  • Proven experience in growing digital businesses, with a strong track record of driving online sales growth and expanding e-commerce platforms
  • Minimum 6 years of E-Commerce experience, including 4 years of experience with Shopee, driving sales growth and optimizing online presence
  • Experience with TikTok Shop is a plus
  • Solid experience in project management and P&L management
  • Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, with strong, client-service approach
  • Ability to think proactively, creatively problem solve, prioritize, and escalate issues when needed
  • Self-starter, responsible, ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask/handle multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills
