What the role is:
You manage talent development within the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), encompassing comprehensive oversight of talent development frameworks and course administration.
What you will be working on:
- Develop the development strategy for SAF talents to ensure a sustainable pipeline of talents who are ready to take on leadership appointments in the future- Oversee the implementation of the development strategy through further developing and implementing a developmental roadmap for over 1,200 talents within the SAF- Manage the nomination of talents for over 50 courses each year both within and outside the SAF- Manage the administration of the courses for the talents, including their funding requirements- Coordinate with whole-of-government for select projects to groom high potential talents within the SAF for higher-level appointmentsChallenge(s)- Managing amorphous long-term development issues- Aligning courses with broader developmental roadmap- Coordinating with diverse stakeholder groups- Ensuring future-focused development approaches
What we are looking for:
- Background in HR development or talent management- Experience in training and development programme administration- Familiarity with public service or military organisational structure is advantageous- Strong stakeholder management abilities, particularly in dealing with senior leadership and multiple government agencies- Excellent project management skills- Sharp analytical and strategic thinking skills- Good decision-making capabilities- Strong communication skills- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines- Detail-oriented approach for handling course administration and documentation(Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
