We are looking for a Manager for our Procurement team. The candidate should have good knowledge of public procurement policies and guidelines. The candidate will work closely with the internal team and provide support to our stakeholders on end-to-end procurement processes.

Responsibilities:-

  • Review documents prior to publication of quotation/tender (ITQ/ITT)
  • Review and provide feedback on Quotation & Tender Evaluation Reports
  • Review and approve awards
  • Assist and provide advice/guidance to stakeholders and lead team members to resolve matters with stakeholders
  • Manage tendering and quotation documents/processes to ensure compliance with procurement policies and guidelines
  • Continuously review policies and procedures related to procurement to ensure compliance with regulations; roll out new guidelines/advisories
  • Supervise, guide, and motivate colleagues in the procurement team
  • Conduct training sessions for Schools and Departments
  • Participate in procurement development projects to enhance process efficacy
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Perform other procurement-related functions and initiatives

What we are looking for:

Requirements:-

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in public procurement
  • A resourceful team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills to address cross-functional issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Hands-on experience with procurement platforms, GeBIZ, and Cumulus (Workday) system is an advantage

Successful candidate will be offered a 2-year contract initially.
