Qualifications

Role Description

  • Business Development Finance: Supports development, planning, implementation, and execution of corporate strategy within customer agreements to drive business with issuers, acquirers, and merchants.
  • Primary Responsibilities: Support business development finance and units in Southeast Asia, building profitable deals for Mastercard, advising on strategic and financial projects.

About the Role
  1. Deal Structuring: Assist account managers in complex deals, review live deals, and support geographies including Singapore, Malaysia/Brunei, Philippines, and regional deals.
  2. Negotiation and Analysis: Conduct scenario analysis, negotiate deal structures, and perform benchmark and reality checks on business cases.
  3. Legal and Compliance: Guide legal team on deal structures, ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  4. Capability Building: Enhance business financial acumen and process understanding.
  5. Innovation and Risk Management: Manage risks creatively, seek outside opportunities to increase value.

Extended Business Support:

  • Provide insights and financial support for strategic investments and pricing initiatives.

Regional Projects and Reporting:

  • Support deal management projects and ensure data integrity in reporting.
