What the role is:

You will be part of the team that is responsible to design and implement enterprise-wide data architecture and enhance existing analytics solutions, while overseeing the Enterprise Data Analytics Platform to drive cross-domain business intelligence initiatives.

What you will be working on:

- Design digital data management and analytics architecture- Ensure that the architecture is aligned with MINDEF’s strategic objectives and needs and MINDEF’s technology directions- Plan and implement roadmap towards the envisaged data architecture- Develop processes to align systems to data standards- Lead the development of data systems across different hosting environmentsChallenge(s)- Navigating through complex, interrelated systems and security protocols while facilitating cross-domain data sharing and integration- Ensuring robust data protection measures align with security requirements

What we are looking for:

- Education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Analytics or Information Technology- At least 3 years of experience in information systems, solution architecture, data architecture or data quality management is preferred- Expertise in business requirements analysis, data pipeline optimisation, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)- Excellent communication skills- Ability to simplify and convey technical concepts- Ability to influence stakeholders(Applicants with no experience may apply.)Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
