What you will be working on

The Manager, Culture & Engagement role within the Human Resource Division is responsible for developing and implementing various strategies and initiatives to foster a positive organisational culture and enhance employee engagement. This position aligns with our mission to promote a vibrant work environment that prioritises meaningful and impactful work, staff well-being, engagement and development, reflecting SSG as a Great Place to Work.

Employee Engagement & Culture Building:

  • Implement culture building and employee engagement initiatives, including planning and organising events, to sustain desired organisational culture and high level of employee engagement
  • Coordinate comprehensive employee feedback surveys, including Whole-of-Government Employee Engagement Survey and Great Place to Work Survey
  • Translate survey data and insights into actionable improvement strategies for post-survey follow-up

Employee Well-being:

  • Manage employee well-being initiatives and events as well as staff welfare-related benefits and policies, to keep employees engaged, enthused and productive
  • Serve as Wellness Ambassador OIC to champion well-being initiatives

Onboarding & Internal Communications:

  • Oversee the onboarding process and programme for new hires, to provide a positive employee journey
  • Manage corporate passes, communications platforms, and accounts
  • Oversee and manage the digital workplace ecosystem, including internal agency portal and platforms for effective employee engagement support

Event Management & Advisory:

  • Provide advisory to organising teams on organisational-wide employee engagement events
  • Manage Public Service-wide and internal SSG awards
  • Plan, track, and manage the end-to-end financial and budget planning for employee engagement activities/initiatives, ensuring optimal resource allocation

What we are looking for

  • At least 2 years of relevant HR experience in employee engagement and culture building, preferably in the public sector
  • Creative and self-driven
  • Strong project management as well as organisational and planning skills
  • Meticulous with a commitment to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and enjoy organising events
  • Proficiency in designing eDMs
  • Technological savvy and comfortable with use of digitalisation tools and data analytics
  • Candidates with IHRP-CP certification are encouraged to apply and preferred

Successful candidates will be offered a 2-year contract in the first instance and may be considered for an extension or be placed on a permanent tenure.
