A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a team member for its Corporate Strategy team. You will conduct market analyses, manage strategic initiatives, and prepare presentations for senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in the financial sector, strong financial modelling capabilities, and excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin. Job description

Role Summary

You will be part of the Corporate Strategy team, working closely with colleagues across the firm to advance the organization’s strategic agenda. This includes delivering analytical insights to support executive decision-making, fostering cross-functional collaboration and contributing to the development and execution of key strategic initiatives. The role reports directly to the Head of Corporate Strategy & Chief of Staff.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry research and analysis to inform strategic priorities
  • Project management and execution of corporate and strategic initiatives
  • Assist in evaluating and executing inorganic opportunities including financial modelling, due diligence and structuring
  • Prepare high-quality presentation decks for senior stakeholders
  • Assist Head in coordinating and supporting business activities

Education Qualification

  • Degree in a related discipline

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum 5 years work experience within the financial services/banking industry. Candidates with relevant experience in Corporate Finance, Investment Banking and M&A will be preferred.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling and exposure to legal documentation, deal negotiation and transaction structuring.
  • Strong powerpoint skills
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and mathematical background with a problem solving mind-set
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in English and Mandarin
  • Energetic and pro-active, with the ability to front-face senior stakeholders
  • Positive, self-starter and a committed team player
