Job description

As a research institute within the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Institute of Microelectronics (IME) bridges the gap between academia and industry. Our mission is to accelerate innovation in advanced packaging, piezoMEMS, SiC, RF/mmwave GaN, photonics & sensors, and to develop talent and inspire in Singapore.

We are looking for a resourceful self-starter to join the Business Operations. The staff will support corporate planning and partnership development.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the implementation of IME's corporate plans, such as strategy, workplans and OKRs.
  • Reporting of corporate KPIs.
  • Organize and facilitate internal and external review meetings and corporate meetings
  • Facilitate IME's efforts to secure international partnerships
  • Take the lead for planning, organizing, and overseeing IME's internal and external events, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to event objectives.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage all event operations (eDMs, vendors, budget, venue, invitations etc.)
  • Evaluate event’s success and prepare post event report
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in any discipline, working experience in strategic/ corporate planning will be advantageous.
  • Good organisation acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage leadership, internal and external stakeholders as well as researchers
  • Dynamic and self-motivated individual who is a big-picture thinker and values integrity, teamwork and excellence
  • Meticulous, well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task
